“Sips of Summer” CA Wine Pop-Up Shop (August 20, 2020 - August 23, 2020)The California Wine Institute established an eight-day pop up shop “Sips of Summer” located at Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong from August 20-23, 2020 and August 27-30, 2020. Seven wine companies showcased and marketed their wines to around 3,500 shoppers. The shop also created social media buzz about features at the shop and the California wines highlighted.
U.S. Food Cooking Demonstrations at AEON Stores (July 25, 2020 - August 2, 2020)
ATO Hong Kong conducted four cooking demonstrations (July 25-26, August 1-2) at AEON Stores using quality U.S. food ingredients including Alaska black cod and U.S. pork, to complement the USA Food Fair at AEON Stores (July 24 - August 5, 2020).

American Food Fair at AEON Stores was held during July 24 – August 5, 2020 featuring a wide range of quality U.S. food and beverage products, including wines, beef, poultry, fruits and beverages, snacks, fish and seafood products and many others. Cooking Demonstrations were held at their stores on July 25-26 and August 1-2 to highlight U.S. food ingredients.

ATO Hong Kong conducted two cooking demonstrations at YATA Store using quality U.S. food ingredients including Alaska wild spot prawn, Alaska salmon, U.S. chicken breast, and American Wagyu sirloin, to complement the USA Food Fair at YATA Stores (July 14-27, 2020).
Delicious USA Restaurant Promotion in Hong Kong (July 16, 2020 - August 16, 2020)
For a second year, Delicious USA, a U.S. food and beverage festival, engaged Hong Kong foodies July 16 to August 16, 2020, with an expanded lineup of 25 renowned Hong Kong restaurants offering over 40 exclusive dishes using an array of premium U.S. ingredients. Delicious USA highlights the quality and versatility of U.S. food and beverage products for delectable dining experiences, it also provides an opportunity for chefs to demonstrate their culinary excellence and diversity in cuisines ranging from American, Spanish, and Italian to Asian, including Thai and Indian.

USA Food Fair at YATA Stores was held during July 14-27, 2020 featuring a wide range of quality U.S. products including beef, pork, poultry, produce, seafood, snacks and many others. Cooking demonstrations were held on July 18 and 19 to highlight some of these products.
Delicious USA Media Event (July 7, 2020 - -)
On July 7, 2020, ATO Hong Hong hosted a media preview for the Delicious USA menu promotion at Eaton Club Central. Consul General Hanscom Smith, U.S. Consulate General to Hong Kong and Macau, Ms. Alicia Hernandez, Director of the U.S. Agricultural Trade Office Hong Kong and Macau, representatives of the California Wine Institute, various participating restaurants, and media guests came together to kick-start Delicious USA 2020. At the event, guests tasted dishes from 7 participating restaurants paired with 5 California wines as a glimpse of the full offerings.
Delicious USA Virtual Chef Event (May 19, 2020 - -)
ATO Hong Kong hosted the Delicious USA virtual chef event on May 19, 2020, replicating an in-person culinary event. Each participant received a delivery of a tasting set, a box of artisanal cheese, and a bag of agricultural products an hour prior to the event to facilitate discussions of the preparation and ingredients during the virtual gathering. 26 chefs or restaurant representatives participated and many of them were interested to further discuss with the ATO about purchasing and usage of U.S. food and beverage products.
